Of high aesthetic appeal, metal free zirconium ceramic crowns and bridges are prepared similarly to traditional metal ceramic dental prostheses. Your dentist will remove any damage or decay, then take an impression of your affected teeth using dental putty and send it off to the dental laboratory. Instead of casting it in metal, the dental laboratory will mill the interior of your future dental prosthesis in zirconium, using CAD/CAM technology. This technology allows us to achieve the greatest possible precision.

As the first step, the dental lab will use a special laser scanner to obtain a 3D image of the impression taken of your tooth. Then, with the help of a computer, a restoration is custom-designed for your tooth. For maximum precision, the restoration is produced by a computer-controlled milling machine. Your dentist will check how well the interior of the prosthesis fits your tooth. If the fit is perfect, the dental lab proceeds to fuse the porcelain to the metal interior. This grants your dental prosthesis great aesthetic appeal. If the zirconium crown or bridge is to your satisfaction both in terms of appearance and comfort, your dentist will cement it permanently into position.

The result is great natural appearance combined with great durability.

Finally, not only have I nice and technically perfect teeth, with an aesthetically impressive view, but I can undoubtedly declare that it’s a real pleasure to use them.

Personally, I am convinced that it was a good decision to turn to you. Due to my overcharged timetable, my possibilities to set up a treatment schedule were limited, but even in this respect I was impressed by the maximal flexibility produced by your clinic. When starting with the treatments, I knew it would not be simple, and summing up the different type of interventions – the scheduled tooth extractions, sinus lift surgery and implant procedures, I was aware of counting all in all with a lot of suffering and even more time. However, I’ve found that we deviated from the preestablished treatment schedule only on my demand (for example, when it was possible for me to come a week later, or when I asked for previously not mentioned supplementary treatment, or for example when „receiving” the ready made teeth I announced, that I would need to have all of them uniformed right now) It is easy to describe the reaction on such a sudden request: the clinical team started to polish the teeth, to make dental impressions and crowns, and all what that includes.

In fact, from the very first moment on, I saw an organised and professional work from Dr. Rácz and his team, including the assistants, and other doctors (x-ray), so that all my preliminary fears and anxieties based on rumours about the inefficient and dangerous treatments, and about this and that losing his/her teeth were entirely dispelled. During the treatment period, no complication occurred, there was not even a single case when to be forced to participate in a posttreatment because of the sinus lift surgery operation connected to the implantology. No inflammation, no mismanagement, I was not exposed to hear, not even once the shocking news, that: „Zap! I didn’t count on that, there is some trouble”. So discounting the inconveniences inevitably accompanying interventions of such a volume (and obviously there were a couple of them). I really have to say that I frequented your clinic with much pleasure.

And of course, the complete result made of zirconium (upper-lower) turned to be, after more than a year-long test period, not only aesthetic and at last usable, but simply perfect. I am glad that I chose these types of crowns, and that the implants keep strong and firm, without the slightest discrepancy. Topping all that, it is just a bonus that tooth brushing is a pleasure again! Certainly, it doesn’t loose its color, it can be easily cleaned, and on half-year controls, it turns out to be even better than new!

• The dental lab prepares the metal interior using traditional technology. Once the interior has been checked for a good fit, the porcelain exterior is fused to it, making sure that the ceramic has the same colour as your own teeth.
• Your dentist will once again check the appearance and fit of your crown or bridge, and if everything is fine, the prosthesis is cemented permanently in position.
